Hump Day

Today started early for some (Ed, Candi, Bill, and Jako), who went on a 5 AM sand run.  Again, you can’t just hop in the car and run to Lowes for sand, here you have to drive 40 minutes one way, shovel a metric ton of sand in the back of a trailer and then take it back to camp and unload it as the sun rises above the African horizon.
Richard and Bill started pouring the foundation for the school, got about 1/5 of the way complete.  The ladies planted fence posts in all those nifty holes we dug yesterday.  Kerry and Steve continued cutting additional posts for fences too from Mwaponi trees. 
Here’s a photo of our local help.  These guys are awesome.  They work so very hard for the community here.
