Saturday, March 24th we will be leaving with 3 others ladies to Mukamba Zambia with the intent of purchasing, relocating and planting 50 Mango trees and 50 bananna trees for the orphanage, ministering and continuing work on the foundation for our "future" permanent tent. We are especially excited that Jako's mom is comming with us for the first time. Your prayers for this trip would be greatly appreciated - for traveling mercies, especially since it is holiday time here with lots of congestion and people on the road, and for mercies with border crossings and us trying to get a cement mixer into the country. Continued prayers for protection, good health, and God's mercy are always appreciated. We plan to return back to South Africa on April 5th. No word yet on our work visas so prayers for that would be greatly appreciated as well.
with much appreciation and gratitude,
Jako and Amber Joubert
Mission of Love Community Orphanage
Welcome to the Zambia Missions team from First Baptist Church of Woodbridge, supporting the Mission of Love Community Orphanage in the Southern Province of Zambia. The first orphanage was completed after more than 4 years of hard effort in the bush, and on February 12, 2010 opened its doors to the first 8 orphans! Since it's completion, the orphanage has taken many additional children! Praise God who is always faithful!

February Update
For the first time, Jako and Amber were able to hole the orphanage registration papers in hand. Although the paper was nothing much to look at it was a beautiful sight to see and they praised God for His Faithfulness. They had hoped to apply for our work permits in Livingstone as well, as it was weekend, they decided to head on out to Mukamba instead. On Saturday they spent putting up our camp up in Mukamba, clearing walkways and paths that had overgrown in the months we had been gone, and just reconnecting with friends in the village and over to visit and update the Chief with updates on the Orphanage. While in Mukamba they were able to finish the storeroom that the local tribe completed with many of the bricks built by the VA team. The inset photo shows Jako, Richard and a local Tonga man (Edgar?) working to fill holes to keep pests, snakes and rats out of the store room.
After this trip Jako and Amber enjoyed a short Holiday provided by friends.
