February Update

For the first time, Jako and Amber were able to hole the orphanage registration papers in hand. Although the paper was nothing much to look at it was a beautiful sight to see and they praised God for His Faithfulness. They had hoped to apply for our work permits in Livingstone as well, as it was weekend, they decided to head on out to Mukamba instead.

On Saturday they spent putting up our camp up in Mukamba, clearing walkways and paths that had overgrown in the months we had been gone, and just reconnecting with friends in the village and over to visit and update the Chief with updates on the Orphanage. While in Mukamba they were able to finish the storeroom that the local tribe completed with many of the bricks built by the VA team. The inset photo shows Jako, Richard and a local Tonga man (Edgar?) working to fill holes to keep pests, snakes and rats out of the store room.
After this trip Jako and Amber enjoyed a short Holiday provided by friends.
