Work begins again.. please pray

Now that Jako & Amber are back in South Africa they are heading back to Mukamba and need your prayers.
"Please pray for us this outreach as although it is the most beautiful time of year, with everything green and bright, it is also the most dangerous as well. Apart from the heavy rain downfall, muddy and washed out road conditions (not to mention the huge potholes in the tar road), it is also high season for Malaria and other diseases and when a lot of the snakes come out as well (many poisonous). Recently we heard of a rabid dog in the area that bit someone so please keep our safely and traveling mercies in your prayers. With only one vehicle going and all the mud and rough conditions a lot could happen or "go wrong". We are excited though - to get back and reconnect and see what needs doing. We have missed being away and are eager to get back to our friends and home there. Thanks so much for your prayers, support, encouragement, and friendship."

Orphanage is officially registered!

Jako and Amber have returned to South Africa and are getting things in order for another trip to Mukamba to work on more permanent Visas. Their visit to the states is best presented in their words:

"Thanks so much for your prayers and thoughts these last couple of months. Our time in the States was wonderful. We enjoyed the time that we got to spend with friends and supporters there, meeting new people, and we especially enjoyed the time we got to spend with Amber's family. The holidays were full of memories as Jako got to experience his first Christmas State-side and Amber's mom's wedding on January 13th was beautiful. It was definitely special getting to be there for that as well as all the preperation before. We really enjoyed getting to know our "new" additions to the family on Rob's side. On the ministry side, we were able to reconnect with old supporters as well as meet some new ones. We received funds for the first orphanage house and at the end of our time there we got the wonderful word that the Orphanage HAS been accepted and officially registered with the Zambian government. PRAISE GOD! Thanks so much for all of your prayers regarding this as it is a HUGE answer to prayer!. While in the States we also received a donation for the first orphanage house! Our hopes is that maybe it will be completed by the end of this year. We were also able to speak at a Christian bikers gathering, in an adult sunday school class, and with many different people at our two supporting churches in FL and Va. We also started planning for another outreach team from First Baptist Church Woodbridge Va, to come and minister with us again in July. Gods is soo good."
